When you authorize the LebWorld News integration via TikTok Login Kit, we collect specific information necessary to provide the publishing service. This includes:

• Profile Information: Your TikTok display name, avatar URL, and OpenID.

• Authentication Tokens: OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to authenticate API requests on your behalf.

• Publishing Metadata: Information about the videos you initiate for publishing, such as captions, privacy settings, and upload status.

We do not collect or store your TikTok password. All authentication is handled directly by TikTok.

We use the collected information exclusively to facilitate the editorial workflow of publishing content to your TikTok profile. Specifically, we use:

• Profile Information to display which account is currently connected in your dashboard.

• Authentication Tokens to securely communicate with the TikTok Content Posting API when you explicitly click 'Publish'.

• Publishing Metadata to track the status of your video uploads and provide you with success or failure notifications.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information or TikTok data to any third parties. We do not use your TikTok data for targeted advertising, user profiling, or any purpose other than providing the direct publishing functionality you requested.

We implement robust, bank-grade security measures to protect your data. Your TikTok access and refresh tokens are strictly stored as encrypted, HTTP-Only, SameSite=Lax browser cookies. They are never exposed to client-side JavaScript, and they are not stored permanently in any cloud database.

All data transmitted between your browser, our servers, and TikTok's APIs is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS). Access to our internal publishing systems is restricted to authorized editors only.

We do not share your TikTok Developer Data with any third-party services, data brokers, or advertising networks. Information is only shared directly with TikTok's servers to execute the API requests you initiate.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

You retain full control over your connected TikTok account. You can revoke LebWorld News's access at any time by visiting your TikTok account settings (Settings > Security and Login > Manage app permissions).

If you wish to request the deletion of any publishing logs or profile information associated with your account in our systems, please contact us at the email address below. We will process data deletion requests within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or TikTok's Developer Guidelines. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the 'Updated At' date at the top of this policy.
