Google API User Data Compliance
Our app's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1. Information We Collect
When you authorize the LebWorld News integration via Google OAuth, we collect specific information necessary to provide the publishing services. This includes:
Profile Information: Your YouTube channel title, channel ID, and profile picture URL.
Authentication Tokens: OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to authenticate API requests on your behalf.
Publishing Metadata: Information about the videos you initiate for publishing, such as video titles, descriptions, category tags, privacy status (public/unlisted/private), and upload state.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your Google account password. The authentication flow is completed securely through official Google OAuth servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information exclusively to facilitate the editorial workflow of publishing news content to your YouTube channel. Specifically, we use:
Profile Information to display which YouTube channel is currently connected in your dashboard.
Authentication Tokens to securely communicate with the YouTube v3 API when you explicitly click 'Publish'.
Publishing Metadata to track the status of your video and Shorts uploads and provide you with success or failure notifications.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information, Google Developer Data, or YouTube channel data to any third parties. We do not use your Google/YouTube account data for targeted advertising, user profiling, or any purpose other than providing the direct publishing functionality you requested.

3. Data Storage and Security
We implement robust security measures to protect your credentials. Your YouTube OAuth tokens are encrypted using industry-standard cryptography and stored in our secure, private database vault accessible only via the service-role admin key.
All data transmitted between your browser, our servers, and the Google API servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS). Access to our internal publishing systems is restricted to authorized editors only.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not share your Google/YouTube Developer Data with any third-party services, data brokers, or advertising networks. Information is only shared directly with Google's servers to execute the API requests you initiate.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
5. Data Retention, User Control, and Deletion
We retain your Google/YouTube OAuth tokens and profile metadata only for as long as your YouTube channel remains connected to the LebWorld News Dashboard. If you disconnect your channel or revoke access, your OAuth tokens and associated profile data are permanently and immediately deleted from our databases.
Operational publishing logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for debugging and audit purposes, after which they are automatically pruned and deleted.
You retain full control over your connected accounts. You can revoke LebWorld News's access to your YouTube channel at any time through the Google Account security settings page (Manage third-party access).
If you wish to request the manual deletion of any remaining logs or profile information in our systems, please contact us at the email address below. We will process data deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or Google/YouTube developer requirements. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the 'Updated At' date at the top of this policy.
